Backup Exec 2010 R3 ist der aktuelle Release, der Folgerelease Backup Exec 2012 ist per Februar 2012 angekündigt. Seit September 2011 ist das SP1 verfügbar (automatische Installation via LiveUpdate).
Backup Exec 2010 R3 hat sich in der Praxis bewährt und wurde von unseren Engineers bei vielen Kunden in Betrieb genommen, die Software kann als sehr stabil und fehlerfrei bezeichnet werden. Trotzdem ist das Einspielen von Hotfixes unerlässlich:
